Mid-June, CompPair attended VivaTech – Europe’s biggest startup and tech event. First of all, we were delighted to attend a physical event for the first time in over a year!
Amaël Cohades, CEO of CompPair, Robin Trigueira, CTO of CompPair and Nicolas, Business Development Director, attended the event in Paris from the 16th to 19th June. They held a stand at the Swiss Pavilion, thanks to support from Innosuisse!
The team had the honour of meeting Bertrand Piccard, explorer, founder and president of the Solar Impulse Foundation. An inspirational man, his life goal is to demonstrate how clean technologies and renewable energy can achieve the impossible.
As a labelled Solar Impulse Foundation solution, CompPair has the goal of addressing environmental challenges, while encouraging economic growth. It was a pleasure to talk to Bertrand, and when discussing CompPair with him, Bertrand shared this thought:
“If we had that technology on our Solar Impulse plane, this would have changed our lives.”
CompPair also had an interview with Bertrand, where he tried out our demo of healable composites!
We are grateful to be a part of the Solar Impulse foundation and thank you Bertrand for the encouraging words! We do believe we can change many lives with our healable composites, by extending composites’ lifetimes and reducing material waste.
